Our Mission
At Defender Tactical, LLC, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality firearms training to individuals of all skill levels. Our mission is to empower our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and legally handle firearms.
Our Instructors
Dave Altenburg is the owner and lead instructor for Defender Tactical. He has 20 years of federal law enforcement experience and has been a certified firearms instructor more than 25 years.
Our Courses
We offer private training to individuals or small groups, plus a variety of half-day, full-day, and 2-day courses to meet the needs of every student, from beginners to advanced shooters. Our courses cover everything from basic firearms safety to advanced marksmanship and combative handgun training.
